Duncan Pranevicius

Duncan Pranevicius is a freelance artist and comic creator working primarily on his gritty, noir-esque series ‘Bin Kitty’.
Having drawn for the majority of his life, Duncan’s inspirations began with video games, comics and cartoons of the 1990s such as Super Mario, Zelda, X-Men, and Batman, but further into adolescence discovering and being drawn to anime and manga, initially through the series Dragonball Z, which opened the door to darker worlds in Berserk, Akira, Hellsing, and the works of horror master Junji Ito. The style of these series’ and the manga aesthetic, along with musical inspiration taken from black metal and shoegaze music, really played a huge part in shaping the look and style of Bin Kitty (that and his wife’s large, dumb cat), and soon you’ll be able to get a look into this bloody, violent world through COMX PRESENTS: NOIR.”I’m so keen to be able to show more stories from the Bin Kitty world through Presents, and I’m also extremely thankful for ComX for putting all this together and bringing me out of my seclusion and into the world of Australian comics, meeting other creators and generally being a hell of a positive on the Aussie comic scene. So, yeah, prepare for a shower of blood, violence and despair in Bin Kitty: Bloodhail”
