Leigh is the creator of Battle For Bustle and Marathon.
He was first introduced to comics as a young boy by his father; a comic enthusiast and an avid collector of 60’s Marvel comics like the Amazing Spider-Man, Iron Man and the X-Men. The love of the art form was passed to Leigh.
In later years, Leigh discovered his own interests in comics. The Crow, Blade Of The Immortal, Lone Wolf and Cub and The Uncanny X-Men were amongst his favourite titles.
After his father passed away, Leigh an illustrator from a young age, decided to branch out and create a 24 page story called ‘Drive’, dedicated to the memory of his dad. For 25 years, he worked on this project which over time transformed a small comic into a comic book series ‘Battle For Bustle’, which saw its release in 2020 and continues to this day.
Leigh says “Meeting other creators in the Australian comic book community has inspired him to create a new series: Marathon” Which will be released for the first time through ComX Studio Presents: Noir anthology series in 2021.
